FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSIONS are the REASON I picked up a camera (along with my constant need to have a hyper-fixation and perhaps at the time untreated ADHD) however saying that; my favorite session is a toddler with strawberry stained hands, bubbles, a sunset and parent(s) getting on their level. I don’t in believe in poses; rather what feels natural, real. Your gallery will be what you want; where you want; how you want - I’m simply the messenger and my medium is a camera. Family photography sessions are spontaneous, fun, documentary and emotive; the photos will illustrate your connection with each other and most of all, love. What clothing should my family wear to a photoshoot?
A few tips for clothing ideas!
1. Matchy matchy is cute - however I love a timeless look. I love nostalgia. If you are wanting photos with a matching jersey etc, please note that I am quite open- and encourage you to bring what you want!
2. How does one achieve that?
Textures, prints, colors & tones.

4. Textures are great! (Wool, cotton, denim, suede)
5. Color is awesome; earth tones, cool tones, warm tones, jewel tones. Pins like this: are a great source of inspiration because it narrows down a few choices vs a plentra of options. Choose a few colors, and go off that; please use what you have at home! Better yet; wear the most sentimental clothes!
6. Suite & ties are great! But I ask that you wear what makes you feel comfortable. the camera picks up one peoples facial expressions. You want your gallery of images to represent your life now; not “one day a year I wear this cocktail dress and 5 piece suite with our 3 very clean, very organized toddlers”
7. Think comfort, realistic, flowy, individualistic, think YOU.
