Hi! So glad you made it to my neck of the woods!
My name is Sophie, and I am a family and newborn photographer, focusing mostly on documenting the most important parts of your life - one could say I freeze time with providing you with personalized family photos! My style of photography, can be described as warm, documentary, nostalgic and relatable.
Servicing White Rock, Surrey, Delta and beyond, I am open to travelling!
I won't tell you to look at the camera, or smile, I focus on candid, natural, emotive family portraits. I tend to be a fly on the wall when I'm photographing you, however I'm not that graceful (haha….) My style of photography is documentary-like, so very natural posing focusing on pieces of our environment (your home, the light, the forest) while primarily capturing the moment! I don’t have fancy bows, a studio or any expectations - my process is simply you, your family, children, dogs, and whoever else is invited. Sounds corny? I know, but trust me - the most important part is you! Personalized family photos for your family mean every session I do is similar yet totally different than the last. Your gallery of family photos will be cherished for centuries. I picked up a camera in 2020 pre-pandemic and haven’t put it down since; I’m constantly thriving to learn more about photography and how it can be of service to my family, and even the community. With gratitude, I have photographed so many families, people, kids, couples; and I appreciate all of you!
Although my style represents a natural theme of photography; if your the type to want more posing; I can help with that too! You don’t have to be a model, or have any experience in the photography industry to book a session; my services are for the people that want to document their life; as is. Your gallery will be chosen by you, with availability to purchase more images as well!

Working with me to create family photos will be an easy steam lined process that feels stress free and exciting. Please contact me now for more information regarding pricing, packages and locations. Upon hiring me; I invite clients to a zoom meeting where we introduce ourselves & talk about expectations, locations, etc. For some, getting family photos can be nerve racking, some folks don’t love having their photos taken, some feel uncomfortable, some feel indifferent - and I just want to say that all those ‘feelings’ are okay- I think having a zoom introduction prior to the photoshoot allows us to unpack some of those pieces. I’m not one to get nitty gritty, but I want you to feel comfortable- your investing money into these photos - so you deserve a photographer who invests into you.
